This studio was an introduction to the world of non metals and their products. Working with various types of woods (solid woods & engineered woods) allowed me to understand their strengths and applications. I further explored the vast subject of plastics, understanding various specifications and manufacturing processes to attain the desired product. Designing products from scratch, making drawings and fabricating them taught me the importance of accurate CAD modelling as well as creation of technical drawings and PDS with sufficient details. Hands-on fabrication improved my material handling skills - driving me to solve problems and achieve desired product finishing.
