The studio focused on exploring and understanding nonmetals which include wood, plastic, ceramics, and a few others. It gave us hands-on experience that helped us understand the materials better. The first step was to conduct material research, which was followed by manufacturing processes and applications, as well as Product Design Specifications.  The products that were supposed to be designed had specifications that helped us identify real-life industry situations.
