Questioning the core idea of workplaces through set design, we start with our own workplaces and ways of working. Certain activities like experimenting, hands on work, modelling spill over on one part of the ground making various pockets of areas. The objects and activities gives color and vibrance to the different zones. The other corner devoid of color shows dedicated space for focus work Apparently the character is restless and craving for blooming ideas to work upon.

Questioning the walls, their structure, function, form and placement through 3D modelling and collages

Translated the spatial qualities of these objects into models to further explore my interest in walls and zones. The chunk spaces take the qualities of some hybrid objects and translate them onto site. The spirit of the space is established by catering to formal and informal work. These ideas are then translated onto site exploring the idea of walls, zones and poche.

The plan showcases the sculptural quality of each island and its uniqueness, having a dedicated spill out landscape space exploring multifarious work types.

These Islands use the defined geometry of the structure to create interesting niches and work environments

The long section cuts through the social hub with all the islands in the background. It displays the modules in the central aisle exploring different postures of interacting and working.
