A Step Towards Indore's Water Security

A tertiary sewage treatment plant(TTP/TSTP) treats wastewater from a primary/secondary sewage treatment plant (STP) to produce industrial-grade water. Indore's 90 MLD industrial water demand is currently met by potable quality Narmada river. The new TTP will fulfill this demand by REUSING the treated wastewater, with the aim of selling industrial-grade water to RECOVER the o&m cost of the facility & generate a solid revenue base for the future to create a profitable & sustainable business model for wastewater treatment. The Project perceives wastewater as a RESOURCE and aims to reduce the dependency on potable water for industrial production.
