R.I.S.E Indore

Indore is a city that has nearly 50 % of its population living in slums. Nearly 40 years after the slum networking program that managed to lift the conditions of slums in the city, the unavailability of water supply and sanitation infrastructure in slums make them susceptible to vulnerabilities arising out of climate change and urbanism. The pilot R.I.S.E Indore looks into providing additional water requirement using decentralised water supply methods and upraising the overall environment of the informal settlements.
