W.A.P.I.S. - Water Absorption Project for Inundated Slum

The Water Absorption Project for Inundated Slums is envisioned to be an immediate and affordable solution to urban waterlogging. Runoff can be managed at the source rather than transporting large quantities of water to expulsion.
The project not only revives our heritage & culture but also creates a micro-climate and due to its design is, low maintenance. It can be incorporated to the upcoming Rain Water Harvesting Policy of Indore to better implement this policy in L.I.G. and M.I.G. areas, where space for individual R.W.H. tanks may not be available.
As per initial feedback to the project, the local citizens of the pilot location, Ram Balram Nagar, find the project to be promising and hope for resolution through W.A.P.I.S.
