Gujarat is well-known for its brisk economic growth. Although it is mostly an industrial economy, agriculture is important to certain portions of the population. Its long shoreline serves as a haven for many homeless and vulnerable persons. These factors heighten Gujarat's sensitivity to the effects of climate change. Gujarat's administration is committed to creating a sustainable and climate-resilient future for its residents. Gujarat has a variety of rules in place that may help to alleviate the effects of climate change. The State Action Plan on Climate Change (SAPCC) was created through a consultative process to ensure these activities' effectiveness and implement the "ambitious and progressive" development plan.
