The aim of the Development Plan studio was to study DP/ MP, study Statutory Framework & analyze them, to form a development plan for a twenty year horizon year, i.e. 2041 in this case along with the development control regulations.Rajkot is the fourth largest city in Gujarat, strategically located at the center of Saurashtra region. A fast-growing city with a current population of more than 1.2 million, it is also considered one of the clean cities of India. Rajkot is located on the banks of rivers Aji and Nyari, and is the administrative headquarters of Rajkot district. It is very well connected to all parts of India by road, rail and air.
