Strategizing the diverse economic potential of Rajkot

The development plan studio aims to understand the process and methodology adopted to make city development plans. Rajkot is the forth largest city in Gujarat and one of the fastest growing cities in India. From manufacturing, it is evolving as a major educational and trading center with the upcoming economic catalyst projects like AIIMS, Airport, etc. The vision was to strategically evolve and develop Rajkot as an “Economically Diverse city”. The Development plan with the help of certain zoning, Development controls and catalyst projects aims to provide circumstances and opportunities to attract such growth trends with a rather liberal approach.
