IMPROVE DELIVERY OF SERVICE LAND TO THE MARKET

Through different sub-strategies, the studio attempts to improve access to affordable and decent housing for people of all income levels. We collected and analyzed primary data through numerous surveys and interviews to improve our understanding of Rajkot city. We used census data and Google Earth photos to look at the city's demographic, geographical, and economic patterns over the last four decades. Other regulatory processes such as environmental clearance, RERA clearance, stamp duty, and registration frequently cause additional delay, additional time, and hence increase the price of housing units. As a result, markets are unable to supply units below a specific price range, leaving a huge segment of households seeking housing adjustments unmet and for whom cheap housing is a critical concern. This served as a foundation for projecting and envisioning potential growth possibilities for the year 2031, allowing us to construct a set of enabling and provisional sub-strategies in a far more effective and efficient manner. After that, the studio wraps up with a city investment strategy as well as technical, financial, and political phasing. The first enabling sub strategy, "Improved Delivery of Serviced Land to the Market," is the emphasis of this portfolio. The efficient and better delivery of serviced land to the market becomes a priority as basic civic services and infrastructure influence everyone across the income spectrum. The current infrastructure is under a great deal of strain. The portfolio contains a variety of methods for reducing burdens and achieving coordinated planning for optimal living conditions.
