The studio was based on developing Housing Strategy for the city of Rajkot, wherein the choices of decent affordable houses can be expanded to all income groups. To formulate a set of policies, programs and regulations that will provide support to consumers seeking housing adjustment and not catered by the market. Slums consisting on 14% of the population while more than 60% of the land under Suchit societies, it is crucial to gradually improve informal areas and formalizing it to be incorporated in the city, through basic infrastructure services and land tenure security.
