Urban Neighbourhood - Nava Naroda

With increasing urbanization, the demand for housing is increasing as well. To accommodate the growing population, being the fifth populous city in the country, Ahmedabad has increased its city boundary by 1400 sq.m in the past two decades. The growth of Nava Naroda started because of industries but at present, the driving force for development is the cheap land prices compared to most parts of the city. People are migrating here expecting a better lifestyle at an affordable price. Another notable character is the educational facilities, having 5 schools that generate more than a thousand jobs within the precinct itself. The organically grown locality is on its way to being a self-sustaining urban neighborhood.
