G+12 Residential Building, Provision of Separation Joint

Objective: Formulating and optimizing the structural system of the building assigned under a given constraint and designing the same for static and dynamic loads by applying the principles of wind engineering, earthquake engineering and limit state theory for reinforced concrete structures.
Provision of Separation Joint in building: Suggested various alternatives of separation joint in the building. Analyzed the building with and without separation joint and compared the results. Determined the required gap as per IS 1893 Part 1: 2016
