Web GIS enabled crop suitability analysis /Web GIS enabled land suitability analysis for crops.

Different types of crops require different climatic / geographical conditions to be cultivated which is affected by several parameters simultaneously.
This study focuses on developing an automated model by using the remote sensing and GIS to distinguish the land type suitable for crops production. The characteristics are determined by various parameters to be specific land use type, soil type, market place, soil moisture, climate etc. All these factors determine the suitability of a given area for a particular type of crop cultivation.
