Ferro Conopeum

The structure is derived from multiple curve surfaces. The roof is divided in 5 identical but mirrored bays. The form resembles the infinity symbol when looked at in an elevation. While the differences in heights create north lights letting in diffused light. The joinery for the grid and web members is designed for the rotation in 3 axis, making the joinery suitable for a complex geometry where none of the two members share the size or orientation.
