GIS for Public Health - A case study in Gandhinagar city

Health is the most important factor for a developing country. Public provision and  accessibility to these health centers are the biggest problems in these developing countries. This project initially visualizes the existing healthcare facilities in Gandhinagar smart city. As a second step, the identification of suitable areas for proposing a new healthcare center is identified based on the selected criteria. Finally, as the last objective, the green corridor for emergency movement of ambulances within the city has been identified from three different incident points to the multispecialty hospital in sector 23 of Gandhinagar city.
