This project attempts to re-imagine plazas and leisure spaces in a gender-inclusive manner. It is based on the idea of gendered bodies experiencing spaces differently, and how interventions at a macro and micro level can positively influence space use. The project attempts to carry the learnings of the initial exercises such as street and house mapping and incorporate them during the later stages to accumulate and represent data in addition to producing a design that caters to the people of Chandigarh.
