Branded Environments Design: Impact of e-retailing on retail spaces

Retail spaces are undergoing a transformation with the rise in momentum of e-retailing. While there are many advantages of e-retailing for both retailers as well as customers, there are several aspects posing as dis-advantages. These aspects are instrumental in emergence of new retail space typologies with shift in objectives and features in recent years. Gaining customer loyalty is at the forefront of these transformations and hence the focus is on creation of more immersive experiences.
