The maritime model of trade is an integral part of the global supply chain and contributes to nearly 90% of global trade. This research focuses on the maritime supply chain, its performance, and how the technological, infrastructural and integrational advancement of the port facilitate the supply chain in optimizing its functionality to gain utmost profitability. For which the research is done by picking up an existing supply chain of a container movement from ICD Dadri to JNPT and explaining the functionality of the same in terms of total cost and time encored.
