This research is focused on the parking and charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in Ahmedabad. It includes the review of the EV policies at the international level for China, the USA, and the UK and national and state-levels policies for various Indian cities. The research also explores the current parking policies in Indian cities. EV parking regulations for Indian cities are studied and their impact on EV adoption is being assessed. The factors influencing user choice for the adoption of EVs are studied. The perception of private users towards EV parking is studied with a focus on the private use of 2W and 4W vehicles.
