LEH PEN PEAKS

The Leh Pen Peaks is a cozy residence nestled in the serene landscapes of Leh designed for author clients seeking warmth in the cool embrace of Leh. This design is arrived to after entensive effort to harness every bit of the greatest source of heat, the sun. All living areas have full direct access to the winter south sun. The design takes full advantage of the concept of thermal mass using stone walls and incorporating fiberglass water storage tubes and trombe walls for passive solar heating. The house is insulated against the cold winds and is very compact with no room for heat loss. With sunspaces and panoramic views, this house is bound to bring out the writers in their mood.
