The portfolio contains the work done as a part of the Urban Regeneration studio. The theme chosen during project selection was 'Area in and around a protected monument.' The monument chosen for this project was Kalupur Darwaza. The project contains documentation and mapping of the street stretch from Kalupur Darwaza to Kalupur Chakla. The project's objective is to provide strategies for urban regeneration along the street stretch, working towards revitalizing the market area between Kalupur Darwaza and Kalupur Chakla.
The Studio began with a 2 week exercise to critically read and analyze the World Heritage (WH) Site of the Historic City of Ahmedabad which formed the base for individual work.
