The Bhadra precinct laid the foundations of the Historic city of Ahmedabad. With the change in the political powers which the city witnessed, each has left its imprint on the city's fabric. Today these narratives are lost and due to urban pressures, the historic fabric has changed drastically. The Studio began with a 2-week exercise to critically read and analyze the World Heritage (WH) Site of the Historic City of Ahmedabad which formed the base for individual work.
