ROLLING BOARD, HANG-ON HANGER, FOLDABLE TRAY

This design project revolves around comprehending the interplay between 2D and 3D forms, considering spatial relationships, and applying design principles to create functional teak wood products. Analyzing the impact of shapes, lines, and patterns on perception, the project explores the transition from 2D concepts to 3D objects. Key considerations include understanding spaces, honing teak wood skills, and integrating principles like balance and unity. The goal is to craft three functional items—a rolling board, clothes hanger, and serving tray—that not only showcase teak wood's durability and aesthetics but also seamlessly integrate into their intended spaces. Iteration and refinement play crucial roles in achieving both functionality and design coherence.
