The purpose of the studio was to design a stool through development of design iterations and material understanding with different types of junctions and details. The design intent for the plywood bent stool is to seamlessly merge functionality, aesthetics and innovative craftsmanship.The stool aims to show-case the inherent flexibility of plywood, leveraging its ability to bend gracefully while providing a sturdy and comfortable seating solution. The design embraces clean- lines, organic curves and a minimalist approach, creating a piece that is not only functional but a visual statement.
