Zephyr

The aim was to design a furniture piece which blends in with day to day life in terms of form factor and build, something that is strong and yet understandable in terms of geometry. The design evokes a sense of breeze. The stool’s curved legs give it a sense of lightness and movement, while its birch ply top is smooth and cool to touch. The design was inspired by trusses and arches and their load distribution principles.
