Practice makes perfect?

What do yoga, woodworking and eating with friends have in common?
To the casual glance they appear disparate, connected only by human participation. However, they are threaded with narratives and meaning, all involving codified behaviours, patterns, and often the use of specialised objects with their own specific environments and settings. Practices like these nouns and verbs make up our lives. Designing around practices both existing and speculated with them, for them, sometimes in opposition provides an opportunity to develop critical methods and abilities. As a part of those methods, core interlocking abilities need to be built or reinforced :-
Understanding and operating between the whole and the parts Collaboration and correction operating Designing around practices both existing and speculated-with them, for them and sometimes in opposition, provides an opportunity to develop critical methods and abilities used in design.
