Stories that Echo - Designing Markaz

The journey of Markaz marks its essence in the lands of Himachal Pradesh, rich with the knowledge of craft and stories. It delves into the understanding and implementation of Kath Kuni style of architecture, in addition to the context of region, time and culture. It aims to create awareness and sensitivity towards an enriching craft style, creating a spectrum for learning and community. The play documents the this journey in the building of the structure in the game, while working with one another. It creates room to explore and reimagine the vernacular.
