The Isanpur Vatva Area is located in the southeastern part of Ahmedabad. The present-day area of Isanpur Vatva is an amalgamation of industrial and residential areas. The 1 sq. km of the study area has a gradual variation from congested housing to well-planned societies and change in land use, and typology as we move from the east to the west side of the area. The portfolio intends to touch upon areas such as history and evolution, the nature of the street network, followed by land use and built form, public realm, and municipal services.
