The methodology adopted focuses on comprehending the city through the scrutiny of a specific urban precinct, delimited to a 1 sq km area. The investigation encompasses a comprehensive analysis of every facet, including its existence, physical attributes, infrastructure, and the choices made by its residents. Through meticulous observation, analysis, and inference, the aim is to derive meaningful conclusions that contribute to the overarching objectives of the study. The first phase in the study’s methodology is to visualize Juhapura, Ahmedabad as a theme where urbanization overtook the peri-urban area of Southwest, turning it into a densely populated neighborhood and delaying its many qualities that allow it to continue growing and expand as a community.
