Hybrid Development Model for Bangalore

According to the KTCP Act of 1961, Bangalore's micro planning method is known as "Town Planning Schemes." The act also states that the mechanism can be used in both greenfield and brownfield sites, although it does not specify the percentage of land that would be appropriated or donated to the public domain. The urban expansion and regeneration studio, for which we investigated micro-level plan preparation in Bangalore, aided in the development of a methodological understanding of all the steps involved in micro-plan preparation, such as base-map preparation, boundary delineation, concept proposals, and valuation. Due to the presence of both brownfield and greenfield projects in our chosen research region, we were able to investigate a hybrid mechanism.
