Khokhra being one of the neighborhoods selected will be the focus of this report. Khokhra is located on the easternmost part of Ahmedabad. This report aims to focus on Khokhra at around 1 sq km. In recent years, this residential neighborhood has been undergoing yet another transformation, transitioning from various changes wrt to evolution, street networks and different land uses. This shift suggests increased economic development of the area, with some open spaces wrt to landscape and other recreational spaces as well. Khokhra has made a name for itself as an important center that captures the true spirit of the city owing to its distinctive fusion of heritage and contemporary. The infrastructure of the neighborhood, which has been essential in defining it, has a significant impact on how it has changed over time.
