This project is a study of the one square kilometer area in the western side of Ahmedabad known as Prahladnagar, 8.5 km away from the city center. The study area is close to an urban village named-‘Vejalpur’ and it was expanded later as a part of the Prahlad Nagar from the last 2 decades which is initially known as a Satellite. Prahlad Nagar rapidly transformed from part of an urban village and suburb to one of the poshest areas for living in Ahmedabad. This project looks at all important triggers to trace the transformation of the area.
