Understanding the City_Ghatlodia West

Ahmedabad is a sprawling city with a population of 7.7 million people. Ghatlodia West as it is a new emerging residential hub in north-western Ahmedabad adjacent to SG Highway, which is the study area for this project. This project aims to aid the working group, developers, sociologists and urban local body of Ghatlodia West. The methodology used for the report includes oral history on the site, observation & interviews and secondary sources like AUDA (Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority), TP (Town Planning) Schemes. For the documentation of the frameworks, the area was mapped onto Geographic Information System (GIS).
