Jodhpur Village has changed  from an agricultural area to a predominantly residential area. Increased private sector involvement and investment potential are driving rapid rehabilitation initiatives. High rises and mixed-use structures with easy access to main collector roads are examples of major developments. Even with excellent connectivity, streets lack equity and safety, particularly at night and in the late evening. The neighborhood has evolved into a work-play paradigm despite the proposal for a residential zone, with mixed-use buildings facilitating accessibility. TP scheme, being close to the SG highway, improved accessibility, and high desirability because of facilities are important considerations for land and building development.
