The Shreyas Flyover, located in Ahmedabad, is identified as one of the sites for redevelopment. The flyover is stretch of 810m. The area beneath the flyover is primarily residential, culminating in a dead end due to a railway track further from the junction. The flyover itself experiences minimal activity, due to the absence of commercial spaces in the immediate vicinity. This location offers a peaceful respite from the city’s bustling crowds. There exists a significant opportunity to transform this underutilized space into a public area that could benefit both the local residents and visitors. Consequently, it has been selected as a site for the redesign project. The redesinged part is 190m. This initiative represents a chance to enhance community engagement and improve the urban landscape.
