The main goal of this course is to give students an understanding of the characteristics of different materials and how important they are in determining the behaviour of structures, which is necessary for good design. Using both software and manual calculations, the studio carefully walks students through the process of designing a structure over the semester. The present project, which is in line with the studio's general idea of nature-inspired architectural design, entails creating a steel roofing system for CFP Kund at CEPT University. Students concentrate on organising and creating structures.
