Covered Roof Design Using RCC

The course is primarily geared towards understanding the practical applications of various materials in the field of design. Throughout the semester studio course, there was a strong emphasis on the design process specifically for structures. The studio engaged in activities to impart practical knowledge, involving the analysis of structures through both manual and software-based methods to improve mathematical skills. Key aspects of study included verifying the results obtained from software. Now, shifting focus to the project—it's all about designing the roof for the amphitheater in the CFP Kund, and we're going with RCC as the main material. The project's goals encompass getting a solid understanding of the chosen material, delving into the form-finding and development process, establishing the structural system, conducting preliminary design and sizing of elements, thoroughly analyzing the structure, and providing initial detailing for the structural components of the project.
