This course is all about learning different materials and how to use them in real design work. We've been focusing on the process of designing structures throughout the entire semester. The studio involves activities that help us learn practical knowledge, analyze structures both manually and using software to improve our math skills, and verify the accuracy of software results. Our current project is about designing the roof for the Garba Ground, using R.C.C. as the primary material. The goal is to understand the material, figure out the shape and structure, do the initial design and sizing of the parts, and analyze and detail the structural components of the project.
