Conservation Proposal for Kalidas Jethabhai House

Kalidas Jethabhai House, a 120-year-old traditional Gujarati house in Dharmaj, abandoned for more than 15 years and going through varying uses, still stands the test of time as an earthquake-resilient vernacular design. The structure is currently in a dilapidated state. A fourth-generation descendant of the family has come together with the Dharmaj Heritage Collaborative and the Center for Heritage Conservation to conserve and revive the structure.
