Expression of boundaries as a generator of space

The topics would deal with the idea of Boundary and how it can be interpreted in diverse ways as a generator of space. Though case studies of traditional houseforms of western India the research would deal with how boundaries get manifested as an identity to space, creating a dialogue between them. The methodology will be dependent on anecdotal evidences of individual students supported by analysis through parameters to support them.
The topic will engage with the factors that shape boundaries and how they get manifested. It will express how larger complexities and meaning of space itself help formation of such manifestation. Through the understanding of correlation between elements and space, one tries to understand the characteristics of such boundaries. The research will deal with how certain regional impression of house forms exhibit such phenomenon, negotiating concerns which are specific but a part of a larger construct of spatial derivative.
