The objective of the architecture program is to create a dynamic space that caters to the needs of journalists as its primary audience. The design of the space is inspired by the concept of a blender - a device that blends various ingredients together to create something new. The space features a live studio side by side, where journalists can work and broadcast their stories in real-time. The design incorporates various elements of a blender, such as the idea of mixing and blending different materials. The result is a space that is functional and, creating a unique environment for journalists to work and thrive.

This moment captures a soul seeking light, From the depths of his Jersey blue he takes flight, Determined to find a fresh perspective, Yet a dilemma grips him, leaving him reflective. Bound by ideas that once served him well, He yearns to break free from his self-made shell, But his feet remain firmly in place, A prisoner of his own mental space. Amidst a sea of harsh criticism and doubt, He struggles to keep his head above the clout, Desperate to explore every new thought, But his laptop screen and empty room leave him caught. A crumpled paper, a blank sheet on the table, The confusion within not willing to be gentle, Yet he persists, eager to break free, To find a new path, a way to truly be.

The blender, a common kitchen appliance, presents a fascinating form to explore from an architectural perspective. The central axis acts as a core that supports other parts, creating a parasitic relationship. The broken covering reveals the inner workings, making the blender an intriguing example of transparency in architecture. Its design highlights the interplay between function and aesthetics, as well as the importance of modularity and the relationship between different parts in creating a cohesive whole.

Exercise was to modify a fixed-sized cube through deformation, taking into account the characteristics of the object. These characteristics included the relationship between host and parasite, smooth finishes, and the connections between different materials. The resulting changes to the cube were likely intended to better reflect or accommodate these qualities.

The drawing provides a clear visual representation of how circulation is intricately linked to the massing of a site. The design highlights the importance of understanding how the placement of a structure impacts movement within and around it. The resulting architectural expression is a harmonious integration of function and form, where the building's placement and circulation work in unison to create a cohesive and functional space.
