Zephyr House

The title is a reflection of the main inspiration for the project: a fan. This building is an editorial office for a magazine, which explores the themes of versatility and multifunctionality in a workspace. The main work areas are organised within long, narrow spaces, challenging the general notions of space and anthropometry. The fan blade dictates various physical attributes of the building. Qualities of the object and its derived model pervade the building in the form of striations that exist as parabolic subtractions in the plan of the building, on the roof and on the façade.
