PRISON - Reverse panopticon

Prison is often referred to as a place of punishment for the misfits of society, it should rather be a place of confinement(no liberty) where everyone is provided with the choice to reform. Prison must have the potential to accommodate various reformation paths for a diverse set of inmates who are willing to be accepted by the society. Inmate’s will to reform shall be affected positively if the society is non-partisan with ex-convicts. Transparency of the process of reformation between inmates and the society is essential so as to discourage the propagation of vice in ex-convicts. The Program would focus on designing facilities that promote rehabilitation and reintegration of inmates into society. The goal is to create an environment that encourages positive behavior and supports the growth and development of individuals serving time.
