Tucked away from the rest of their speculated community, the gurukul houses the future. Within the mutated forest of Jura is a place where students both live and learn the skills they need to combat their harsh reality. Made to accommodate the rainfall and humidity of the forest, the light-weight intervention takes inspiration from the existing grid of the Queen’s Pavilion and its adjacent steps, extruding and playing with different volumes to create cozy nooks and individual spaces.
