The meeting rooms inside the AMSOM are envisioned to be 3 pavilions. The design tests the hypotheses where each pavilion has different experiential character while establishing syntactic relationship amongst themselves. The tectonic relationship is established by conceiving a skin and its relationship to the the structure as a form idea further defining it, sometimes becoming its part or creating an armature or sometimes framing it altogether. The choice of materials follows the larger experiential character. Kahn quotes, “ Discussion between one and another are not the same as one room as in another”. The meeting pavilions are perceived to nurture such agreements.
