Interior Design as Spatial Experience of the Context

The research will involve the understanding of Interior Design as spatial experiences informed by the context. The design of interior spaces will be understood through qualitative analysis of lived experiences that will include tangible aspects such as dimensions, shapes and finishes as well as intangible ones based on emotional responses such as how one ‘feels’ and what is the perception of the space. The context will
be considered based on the physical - such as geography, topography and climate as well non-physical attributes, such as the sociocultural and economic dimensions.
