Tranquil | Seating for 3

The studio focuses on wood as a material and learn the possibilities and limitations of the material. Tranquil is a 3 seater and focuses on using split as a visual focus and increase surface area while using taper as a technique to reduce the use of material. The bench is 3 feet wide which challenges one to counter the load distribution in a horizontal spanning member. It aims to focus integrating entire structure with seat forming an overall intergrated structure.
