Currently all the water bodies are polluted and are under bad condition due to discharge of different waste in the water bodies. Due to the huge religious impact on the city different religious rituals are happening around the water bodies. People are not visiting these lakes frequently due to the poor maintenance of the lakes and lack of green spaces. Having location in the city centre, the area around sapta sagars have no value and are getting encroached and getting polluted.
