This research focuses on women waste pickers’ personal and occupational scenario in Ahmedabad, India. To achieve the proper scenario of women waste pickers of the city a methodology has to be followed, so for knowing the background of this waste sector some literature studies have been done through different research paper, reports, books, etc. After that site visits consist of interviews, focus group discussion and stakeholder consultation with AMC, NGO’s, etc. and thereafter the obtained data and information needed to be studied and analysed. At last some recommendation has been suggested for the betterment of the women waste pickers.
